Welcome to Ski Timothy!

About Mt Timothy

A locally owned and operated community asset that originally opened in 1988 through the hard work of many volunteers and corporate and government support.

In 2019, the hill was purchased by private partners, two long time friends, native to central British Columbia. During the summer of the same year many improvements were made to get the hill operational and up and running as a functioning ski hill for the local community for the 2019/2020 winter season. That winter much fun was had and many lessons learned, until the early closure of the hill due to COVID-19. The down time was put to good use, executing the phase 2 plan for operations, which included getting the Guest Services lodge finished to house the rental shop and a full service pro shop, building log cabins for overnight rental,  upgrading a second carpet lift , among many other improvements. The 2023/2024 season looks to be a promising one, hopefully Mother Nature cooperates.

Year-Round Mountain Delights

Mt Timothy Recreation Resort is a family friendly ski hill located  in the heart of British Columbia’s Cariboo range.  Offering amazing snow conditions, champagne powder, no line ups and diverse terrain for you skiing enjoyment.

Operating with one triple chair, a T-Bar, and two magic carpet lifts, there is room for all skill levels.  Whether your skiing or boarding on the hill, riding your sled on the gold rush trail system up to the lodge, or on the tubing hill, we know for sure you’ll be having a blast.

Important Announcement
for the Ski/Board 2023/2024 Season

The owners of Mount Timothy have made a very difficult decision and are sad to announce that due to lack of snow, continued warm temperatures, no precipitation in the forecast and what would already be a very late start to the season, we will not be opening for the 23/24 ski/board season.

We have not forgotten about all those individuals who purchased season passes, punch cards and gift certificates. We have decided to remove the expiry date on both punch cards and gift certificates. making them valid until they are used. To our season pass holders, please call the resort at 250-396-4095 to discuss the options we have put in place, as we will take care of you.

As we are trying to recoup lost revenue, the licensed restaurant is now open the following days/times:

Thursday: Noon – 5pm
Friday & Saturday: Noon – 8pm
Sunday: Noon – 5pm

Please watch our website and all our social media outlets for special events -just because we are not open for skiing, we plan to have other alternatives.

We are truly sorry to all those this difficult decision has affected, as we were hoping for another amazing season also this year.

See You Next Year!
